How to Split Files for Winrar.
Do you ever have a RAR file uploading and it seems to take forever? Have you had it shut down and it says on the page, Session Timed Out? I know because I have. This is mostly because the rar file you are trying to upload is too large.
Here's what you can do, you have to divide the file into parts!
--------------------------------------------------------------
Okay now here's how you Winrar your files, so here goes :
1) Start Winrar and click on Add button.
2) When you try to covert into archive, there is an option in General Tab (Red Arrow) see image below:
2) Split your file in volume(bytes) in this section (Green Arrow) see image above.
3) For a 400 Mb type of file, put 100 MB in that blank (green arrow) above, it will convert into 4 parts which is of 100 + 100 +
100 + 45 Mb (for a 445 Mb file)
Or you can type in 200 Mb instead of 100 Mb
4) This is how my file looked (folder visible and winrar'd into 3 files) after I split it into 3. You can see the folder there.
That I WinRar'd into Archive.
Note the red text .part1 ; .part2 and .part 3 will all be a part of the file if your's need to be divided in 3 see image below:

This is how rapidshare automatically numbers your divided files. Now they are all set for uploading.
